Meet Megan & Blaine

Hi! We’re Megan and Blaine Beck, the owners of Abella Weddings & Events, and we’re so glad you’re here!

Our love for weddings began more than 15 years ago, long before we dreamed of owning a venue of our own. From managing wedding venues to running our own DJ and photo booth business, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating alongside hundreds of couples. In fact, DJing weddings together was often how we found time to spend with one another while balancing busy careers and raising a family. Those long wedding days, late nights, and countless celebrations sparked our dream of creating a wedding venue of our own.

After taking a break from the wedding industry to focus on our growing family, the opportunity to purchase Abella came along in 2023. It felt like fate! We fell in love with the property and knew it was the perfect place to bring our years of experience, creativity, and passion for weddings together.

We’ve been married since 2014 and live in Woodbury, Minnesota, with our three children. Outside of Abella, you'll find us traveling, enjoying concerts, hosting game nights with friends, and keeping up with our kids' activities.

Megan brings a background in journalism, communications, community engagement, and event coordination. With an eye for design and a love for bringing people together, she enjoys overseeing the details that make each celebration feel seamless and memorable.

Blaine has a background in marketing, sales, and venue management, with wedding industry experience dating back to his teenage years. From starting his own DJ business at 16 to managing a busy wedding venue and even officiating ceremonies, he brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for helping couples create their perfect day.

Together, we believe a wedding venue should be more than just a beautiful setting. It should be a place where couples feel welcomed, supported, and excited to celebrate with the people they love most. Alongside our dedicated team, we're honored to care for Abella and help create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for every couple who celebrates here.
