We are Megan and Blaine Beck, and we are so glad that you have discovered Abella! 

We fell in love with weddings a long time ago. We have more than 15 years of experience in the wedding industry, including managing wedding venues and owning a DJ and Photo Booth service.

Spending time together while DJing weddings was one of the only ways we had any time to spend together while managing busy schedules. Most days we’d be packing up the car by noon and wouldn’t be unpacking until past 1 a.m. We worked with hundreds of couples over 13 years, even as we managed busy careers and starting a family.

It was during those gigs that our dream of owning our own venue came to life. We had the opportunity to check out so many spaces and gather many ideas from the amazing couples and vendors we worked with. 

When our third child was born, we took a short break from the wedding business until it called us back in 2023. Abella was for sale and it felt like fate. We are excited and honored to be the stewards of Abella and the couples (along with their families and friends) who celebrate here!

Our team works hard to ensure every client has the best possible experience. We enjoy getting to know our couples and their families; and being a part of a day they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

MEET ALLY | Director of Events

Ally Leonard has been in the Twin Cities wedding industry for nearly 12 years - primarily with experience in both venue management and wedding planning! Her favorite part about weddings is seeing each event come to life as a reflection of each couple. She is known for her kind and calming presence on wedding day!

When she's not working an event, Ally enjoys traveling to new places, shooting photography, or going on walks with her dog, Zoee.




MEET JORDAN | Bar Manager

Meet Jordan Feist, a hospitality pro with 15 years of experience. Having personally bartended over 700 weddings and organized countless more, Jordan's passion for events is unmatched.

With his infectious energy, Jordan ensures every event is unforgettable. He enjoys engaging with guests and orchestrating seamless celebrations. Married to his high school sweetheart, he's now a proud parent to a son born in 2023. Jordan is excited to bring his passion and expertise to your special day!


MEET MEGAN & BLAINE | Owners

Blaine and Megan have been married since 2014. They live in Woodbury, Minnesota, where they are raising three children. They are very close to their families and enjoy traveling together to check out new places or visit their Airbnb in Palm Springs, California. They enjoy a good game night with friends and stay busy with kids activities. They love music and attend several concerts each year.

Megan graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in journalism. She has worked in the communications and engagement field for a local government for more than 12 years and has a passion for community building, event coordinating, social media and design.

Prior to owning Abella, she was very involved in the DJ and Photo Booth business by helping with event coordination and managing the photo booth. She thrives off the excitement of overseeing Abella to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that our clients have the best day ever!

Blaine has a marketing degree from the University of St. Thomas and a background in sales and management. He has a passion for people and thrives off finding solutions that fit. His first job in high school was running the sound board for ceremonies at a local venue. He eventually became the venue manager while attending college, and grew the venue’s popularity to host over 70 weddings per year. At 16, he started his own DJ business and provided his services for hundreds of weddings over 13 years. He has also officiated 10+ weddings!
